Touring band discovered 2 abandoned dogs on empty highway, and got incredibly lucky when the first local farmer they met said he was just looking for 2 pups to play with his lonely senior doggo, making this the best ‘wrong turn’ the band could have taken

The lives of touring musicians tend to be relatively secretive. Well not secretive so much as you never quite know what they are doing because they are always on the move living in their tiny world on the tour bus. But thanks to a horrible hooman who dumped a young and an old doggo by the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. We have been granted a backstage pass to a few pawticularly special hours of this band's tour.

Ok, obviously this is not about the band, it is about the doggos, but it was an incredible move by whatever forces of fate you enjoy believing in to cause this band to take a wrong turn into the middle of nowhere and come upon these two pups. Had they not made their mistake these doggos could have very well made their departure from life amongst the barren shadeless and scorching setting. But that was only the beginning of their journey. There were far more fateful events to come later on.

Having loaded the doggos into their car the band continued down the road hoping to come upon a farmer who might be missing the dogs. But what they first found was a local farmer who told them the dogs were most likely dumped. A fortuitous meeting in itself as it quickly changed the way this band were thinking about these doggos. These weren't working doggos, but pets. The final fateful meeting we will leave for you to find out for yourself below, and boy is it a doozy. So go forth and enjoy.

    Goodness, there is nothing sadder than seeing the hope in a doggo's eyes extinguish and reignite as cars pass it.

    We flagged down the car and talked to 2 women who knew the area. They were certain the dogs had been dumped. 420

    Uh oh, why do these things always end up happening on the weekend? It's like the people who dump animals specifically want them to suffer more.

    So, we called any animal shelter or rescue within 100 miles but everyone was closed because of the holiday weekend.
